Apart from all application documentation, students must have a valid passport at the time of travel and meet Israel's visa requirements depending on the chosen Muss program.

Most U.S. citizens do not need a visa, but you will need an ETA-IL electronic travel authorization, valid for 2 years. Non-U.S. citizens should check with the Israeli consulate.

Israel Studies also pairs 250 hours of traditional coursework with field seminars, so that learning doesn't stop once the student leaves the classroom. Yes! Muss offers mini-mester programs, specifically designed for students who want meaningful academic and cultural immersion in Israel but cannot commit to a full 4-month semester. These mini-mesters are 2-months long and offer many of the same experiences as a full semester.

Muss also offers academic summer programs for continued education and Israel travel in between school years.

Muss Summer uses the country of Israel itself as the setting for all experiences, travel, and experiential learning. Traditional camps may focus more on a fixed campus, but Muss combines campus community with learning across Israel allowing for an immersive and transformative experience for the student.

Currently, all programs take place at the Muss North campus in Hod Hasharon. Hod Hasharon is a suburb of Tel Aviv, with its own vibrant town and daily life.
