Outdoor Adventures and Experiencing Israeli Culture
October 16, 2026

Last Sunday, students gathered a special alumni dinner. They had the opportunity to meet former Muss students, hear about their experiences, and see firsthand the lasting impact of a semester at Muss.
Monday and Tuesday brought a continued focus on academics, along with time to recharge and enjoy campus life. Tuesday evening, students participated in a program with Israeli peers, giving them the opportunity to connect with local students, share experiences, build new friendships, and connect to Israeli culture.
On Wednesday, students visited Yad Vashem for a guided tour that was both powerful and educational. They deepened their understanding of the Holocaust and its history and had the meaningful opportunity to hear personal testimony from a Holocaust survivor. The students listened attentively and engaged thoughtfully, making the visit an especially impactful part of the week.
Thursday began at Neve Yam Beach, where students were divided into groups for a water activity that combined learning, teamwork, and fun! Later in the day, they continued their outdoor adventures with a hike, taking in more of Israel’s natural landscape.
On Friday morning, Barrack students left campus to go to a water park for bonding time outside of their regular routine before Shabbat. They then traveled to the North to spend Shabbat on a kibbutz and continue building community as a group.
